Bus Station

The station is composed of a single above grade volume that will contain both the lobby with all its associated uses, as well as the line of platforms, the waiting area and the area destined for bus traffic. The project includes a top floor in its west zone, with direct access from the park, intended for the use of the cafeteria. This space opens the station to the park and allows a direct connection between them.

In addition, it develops the dome that connects the railway station and the bus station characterizing the space between the two stations. It also becomes the link between the two zones of the park providing it with the continuity necessary to be perceived as the great structuring element of this part of the city.

The envelope of the building is composed of three elements, two of them with a ventilated façade formed by a metallic mesh supported on structural pillars, and a third that forms the main façade, which is the entrance to the station and which is symmetrical to the facade of the high speed station.
